Maryland 10This Thursday, January 28, the Maryland House Judiciary Committee will hear testimony about House Bill 90 which would prevent the state from recognizing same-sex marriages performed elsewhere by declaring that “marriages between individuals of the same sex are against the public policy of the State.”

The Attorney General’s office is currently considering an official opinion as to whether Maryland should recognize out-of-state same sex marriages and this bill could prevent hundreds of families from having the legal protections they need and deserve.

If you live in Maryland, TAKE ACTION TODAY to tell your delegate to vote against HB 90.
