Nicole and FamilyWith only an hour and a half left until polls close, we are wasting no time to make sure that every NO vote is cast for question 1. Governor Baldacci just called and wished our canvass team good luck as I sent them for a final round of knocking on doors of people who had not voted yet! So far, we have knocked on over 35,000 doors just today because of the fantastic volunteers who are fighting to defend the rights of their family and friends.

Nicole and Nancy are one such couple. They have been together for 24 years and have an 11-year-old son, Carter. They want their family to be protected like all other families in Maine.

Our canvassers are still out, well after dark making sure that Carter can grow up knowing that his family is as respected and equal as those of his classmates.

Gotta go get a few more voters to the polls!
