visabilityLas week, the Washington Families Standing Together campaign and I gathered in the rain over the Madison I-5 freeway overpass. We waved signs reminding voters on their morning commute to vote to Approve referendum 71. There were plenty of honks and waves in support of the referendum. The overpass is within walking distance of the office and busy downtown Seattle where many residents both live and work.

Everyday is election day until November 3rd. Join us all of next week as we show our support and make sure Washingtonians come out and vote APPROVE on referendum 71. Check out the campaign website at approve71.org for more information on phone banks and other local events or email me at adrian.matanza@hrc.org.
