In Final Weeks, Maine & Washington Campaigns Need Your Help NOW

Protect-Maine-Equality_LOGOToday is only three weeks until election day and the LGBT community faces critical battles on the ballot in Maine and Washington.  Not only that but this week voters in Maine can begin early in-person voting and voters in Washington begin receiving their mail-in ballots.

For one thing the campaigns need money.  Big checks… small checks… whatever you can do.  Our opponents are raising cash to deny us rights and we have to dig deep in order to fight back.  Donate to preserve marriage in Maine through HRC’s Maine PAC and support domestic partnerships in Washington State through HRC’s Washington PAC.

WA-DP-approve-ref-71_logoYou can also contribute with your time.  Both campaigns need volunteers… in Maine sign-up to help No On 1 / Protect Maine Equality and in Washington State sign-up to help Approve Ref 71.

Also, if you live in the DC area, join us each Tuesday and Thursday evening for phone banks from HRC headquarters.

These battles are winnable but not if we don’t give everything we have.
