Nashville Passes LGBT Non-Discrimination Ordinance

Earlier this week, the Metro Nashville Council (which governs the consolidated governments of the City of Nashville and Davidson County) passed an inclusive anti-discrimination ordinance prohibiting sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination in government employment.  HRC sent several alerts about this campaign urging our members to contact their council members and we congratulate the Tennessee Equality Project and the Tennessee Transgender Political Coalition on a fantastic victory!
