Today the Human Rights Campaign Foundation released a series of videos of real people talking about LGBT equality in celebration of the upcoming National Coming Out Day on October 11.  The concept is simple but the results are powerful.  Everytime a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight person talks about his or her life, we change hearts and minds.

Please watch the videos below and if you identify as LGBT think about how you can seek support among your straight friends and family and make them advocates for you.  And if you’re a straight person, think about how you can reach out to the LGBT people in your life to make them feel embraced and empowered.
