Gathering for LGBT Equality in Utah

The Deseret News in Salt Lake City as a great piece on this weekend’s Human Rights Campaign dinner in the heart of one of the most conservative places in the country. A record number attended with more than 800 LGBT people and straight supporters turning out to support the work of HRC.

As HRC board member Bruce Bastian told the paper, the event is a “yearly ‘pump up the troops’” and despite struggles along the way to equality, “in the end, truth and love will win.”
