marty_legislatorsAfter a large hazelnut coffee from Dunkin’ I headed to a meeting with House Speaker Terie Norelli and marriage bill sponsor Jim Splaine. The combination of caffeine, meeting with two leading champions of the marriage bill, and our united enthusiasm for getting the marriage bill passed make this a high energy meeting. Wow.

I see the determination in their eyes and sense they are aware that they are on the verge of making history in two weeks. The plan is coming together. We are going to win this by talking to legislators one at a time, from the heart. I leave New Hampshire for now, knowing that 186 legislators deserve our thanks and several more deserve our undivided attention.
