Cabinet confirmation hearings to take place next week; Eric Holder to go before Senate on January 15

NYT's The Caucus political blog has posted a listing of scheduled Senate confirmation hearings for President-elect Obama's cabinet members. The majority of the hearings will take place next week, including the January 15 hearing for Attorney General candidate Eric Holder. Earlier this week, HRC took part in a press conference with the civil rights community and Senators Whitehouse (D-CT) and Cardin (D-MA) in support of Holder's nomination. Janet Napolitano, candidate for Secretary of Homeland Security, will also go before the Senate on January 15.
