BEYOND SHAMEFUL: The Museum of Broadcast Communications has announced that it plans to induct right-winger James Dobson into the Radio Hall of Fame on November 8.   Dobson, who runs the stridently anti-gay Focus on the Family organization, has been one of the biggest - and most well-funded - opponents of LGBT civil rights over the years, going so far that allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry would "destroy the nation" and "eventually have a major impact on Western civilization."

GLAAD, the media watchdog organization for the LGBT community, has put together a video of some of Dobson's most egregious statements against LGBT people. You have to watch it for yourself to fully understand why people like Dobson who use the airwaves to continuously attack LGBT people don't belong in the Radio Hall of Fame:

GLAAD is encouraging people to express their outrage by contacting the Museum of Broadcast Communications and letting them know just who they are about to induct into their Radio Hall of Fame.  People like Dobson who use the airwaves to induce hatred and fear of LGBT people need to stopped - not honored.
