Clyburn, Kennedy reaffirm commitments to advancing GLBT civil rights at HRC's Spring Board Meeting

We thought you would be encouraged by two amazing speeches recently given by two of the GLBT community's strongest allies in Congress over the years. In addresses at our Spring Board Meeting luncheon a few weeks ago, Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) and Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) both drew upon the pride they share in being able to help pass the first inclusive hate crimes bill and reiterated their determination to keep GLBT civil rights at the forefront of Congress' legislative agendas:
